About Eric Sweet

Owner/Designer


I’m a mechanical CAD designer with over a decade of professional drafting experience creating accurate, production-ready models and drawings. My work focuses on producing clean, well-structured CAD that minimizes rework and clearly communicates design intent for manufacturing and prototyping. I have experience developing automotive components and tooling using platforms such as AutoCAD, CATIA V5, SolidWorks, and NX, and I’m comfortable working with complex multi-part assemblies throughout the design process. With a strong ability to interpret technical drawings and visualize them as real components, I aim to deliver reliable, precise CAD support for shops, engineers, and manufacturers.

Outside of professional drafting, I’ve spent more than 20 years working with tools and materials through woodworking and fabrication projects. That hands-on experience helps me approach CAD with a practical understanding of how parts are actually made and assembled.
